🚧 It happened again! The historic Robert Parker Coffin Bridge in Long Grove took another hit — reportedly the 69th time it’s been struck.
Around 10:50 p.m. Thursday, a white pickup towing a large trailer clipped the bridge canopy. Part of it was even caught on camera. The driver stopped and got out afterward to check the damage.
You’d think by now drivers would know… that bridge always wins.
Someone’s delivery is going to be late after a UPS truck hits the bridge on Monday morning.

Another box truck hit the bridge around 7pm Saturday night.

Two EF-0 tornadoes were confirmed with one in Barrington with max wind speeds of 80 mph and another in Long Grove with max wind speeds of 70 mph.
No Damage to bridge.
